Hello
I hope this is ok for me to post this, I did write to two people I thought were moderators or staff of the forum, but I have had no reply.
* My name is Richard Norman; I have just joined the forum.
For 25 years my wife and I were professional bookbinders, we helped to print and bind numerous Parish and Family Histories.
The paper we turned to was an acid free antique laid paper which comes in two shades, white and vellum, which is a pale cream colour. These are long life papers suitable for inkjet, laser printing or conventional litho or letterpress.
Before we closed our bindery I purchased a large amount of these papers which were held in storage for a nominal fee.
The company that is holding our paper has recently told us that the storage charges are to be increased and I now feel that selling this paper is the best option I have.
The paper in question comes in SRA2 (450mm × 640mm) which would be good for charts and A4 (297mm x 210mm) which is ideal as a text paper.
This paper is in as new condition, the SRA2 paper is packed in 250's in damp proof wrappers, the A4 paper comes in boxes of 2,500 sheets.
This is the technical specification for the paper supplied by the mill.
Sheet size of 450 x 640 mm = 17.72 x 25.20 inches 100gsm
Colour = vellum or white

This paper meets ISO 9706 requirements for permanence of paper.
The mill that produced it has ISO 9002 & 14001 accreditation.
The price of the paper is £24.00 per 1000 A4 sheets. This works out at about £12.00 a ream or 2.4p per sheet.
The price of the SRA2 paper is £105.00 per 1000 sheets. This works out at about £57.50 per ream or 10.5p per sheet.
These prices include tax and shipping to your door. (UK mainland only)
In order to obtain free delivery I have to ask a minimum order value of £115.00.
Thank you.
