This website is a gold mine to anyone with relatives/ancestors buried in Whitchurch cemetery.



By clicking on the "Grave Index" tab you'll be taken to an alphabetical list. Choose the appropriate letter for the surname you are researching and then on the appropriate year range. If you can go back and forth through the year range by just clicking "Previous" or "Next" once on a page.



You will be shown a scanned page which lists the name, age, place of death, date of burial and grave space number.



If you're lucky enough to find who you're after then note the paricular details down then click "Back to Index" and then on the "Grave Location" tab. Clicking on the appropriate grave number range will open up a PDF of the map showing the area of Whitchurch cemetery in which your ancestor is buried. The grave plots are numbered.



If only more cemeteries and church yards would do this!
