My grandmother was Sarah Ann Wilson, born 1887, and married Edward Pacey in 1906. Am really interested in finding who her parents were, and when Sarah herself passed away. Any information would be great.
Thanks,
Julie Moore

Julie, you mention your Grandmother married Edward Pacey in 1906 so do you have a copy of their marriage certificate as it will state both parties Fathers names and their professions at the time of marriage..
I have found the marriage on freebmd and the year is 1908 and the area is for Grantham...Grantham is in Lincolnshire..

Julie, you also state your Grandmother was born 1887 but you make no mention of her birth place? Have you found her on the Census and what information if any do you have on her apart from what you have stated above?

On another Forum A******y .Co they have a Public Member tree with your Edward and Sarah.(Banns - Harlaxton.) in regards to their marriage..No parents names for Sarah..Also I checked the Census for Lincolnshire and there are a number of Sarah Ann Wilson's born around the same time ..As you do not state a birth place and only a year Julie it makes the searching rather difficult..You really need to get the Certificate to progress any further ahead.
Edward it seems was aged 21 years at the time of marriage..He was born Harlaxton Lincolnshire September 1887..His parents it seems were Henry Pacey and Sarah Elizabeth Pike.

I wonder if this could be the marriage for William Wilson to Catherine?

The district Caistor is in the county of Lincolnshire
I did find a later marriage for a William Henry Wilson for the December quarter of 1890 to a Catherine Moore..Area is Gainsboro...The district Gainsboro is an alternative name for Gainsborough and it spans the boundaries of the counties of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
