Thread: Pelrange (Pellerang) Surname

My Great Great Grandmother's surname was Pelrange on the birth of a daughter ( Bridget Gallagher ) in 1825 in Shannagolden Parish. Then it became Pellerang on the birth of a son (Charles Gallagher )in 1846. Her name was Hanora and she had a sister or sister in law called Johanna, a witness to the birth in 1825. Hanora married a Patrick Gallagher some time prior to 1825 I guess, but have been unable to find any record of the surname or marriage. All her children I have found were registered in Shannagolden Parish as Roman Catholics.
I am hoping someone has knowledge of the surname and where her family may have come from.
