About LinkBacksHi, Looking for Mary Fewkes 1754, and any details of the Fewkes family in Hoby or surrounds.
Mary married Henry Richardson b. abt 1750. One of their children was Edward Richardson born in Hoby 29/3/1782.
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you ever get the info you need? If not I go to Leicestershire Records Office and could look up the Hoby registers for you

Hi Iris - can't find Mary in either South Croxton or Hoby - I'll have a look in some other surrounding parishes when I get the chance

There aren't any mare marriages there for Fewkes and none in Hoby but have a few Fewkws listed elsewhere plus I do have a later list if you want to check any other marriages
