Red face Re: Hennelly Family

Shan thanks for the info yes Andrew was at one time a milk dealer his dad Patrick was down as a farmer on Andrews wedding cert. I have no idea where they came from in Ireland. I wonder if your name name of Hennesey could be a form of Henelly ?. Dove.

Hi Dove
My Hennessey's came from Ireland, not sure where mind you, i have them in all variations of the name hennessey/hennesey/henessey/henesey/henesy, even hennsy, but as of yet not henelley or variations.
Maybe that is an option to try with my Dennis

Dove,

I have found on the 1901 census.

ANDREW HENLY. HEAD AGE 57 SAILOR BORN - SLIGO, IRELAND
ELIZABETH. WIFE AGE 46 MACHINIST BORN - DUBLIN, IRLEAND
RALPH MARSDEN AGE 22 NEPHEW BORN, LIVERPOOL
MGT BRINDLE. AGE 16 DOMESTIC SERVANT, VORN - LIVERPOOL.

I know it wasnt really probably what you had hoped for, but if it's him? he must have got re-married.

Their address is 40 Richmond Row Liverpool.

I know you mentioned Hornby Street, and Richmond row is quite near to that.

??? Oh! it drives you mad doesn't it?

Reagrds

Unhappy Re: Hennelly Family

Unsure now?

I have been scouring through all the marriages in the area, and just come across a marriage for a ANDREW HEALEY to ELIZABETH HUGHES 1892, in Liverpool ref 8b pg 74. Reckon this is the couple above?

Unless your Hennelly could have been HEALEY?

I have just looked through hundreds, of marriages and not one was a HENNELLY. The closest I came was HENLEY.

Are you sure of the spelling, have you ever found his birth cert?

Regards
BW
