would some kind person look up these families for me on the 1851---1901 LANCS CENSUS.

LINDLEY
Alice (nee SHARD) LINDLEY b 1830 Kearsley LANCS. Husband John Lyndley.

LOMAX
MARTHA (nee SHARD) LOMAX b1804 Kearsley LANCS. Husband JOHN.

GRIME.
ROSEHANNAH (nee SHARD) b 1818 Kearsley Lancs Husband JOHN.

Hi Ecclescake,

The first one Alice Lindley nee Shard is a slight problem. Alice Shard married a Henry Lindley

Marriages Mar 1847

Lindley Henry Chorlton 20 114
Shard Alice Chorlton 20 114

There is an Alice Lindley married to John Lindley but she was born c 1823

They were both living in the same household on the 1851 census which does make things easier.
