What year was James born??!! lol it says 1965?! Did you mean 1865?

Found this on the IGI Ties in with The birth of Mary

ROBERT SHARD

Marriages:

Here is a possible Death for James, can find no reference on the census past 1871

Name: James Shard
Birth Date: abt 1866
Year of Registration: 1908
Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep
Age at death: 42
District: Bury
County: Greater Manchester, Lancashire
Volume: 8c
Page: 315

I assumed it was a typo error and took it to mean 1865

Again many thanks for that information you cracked for me this time..

Yes it was a typing error opps 1965 LOL I meant 1865.

Yes that is the marriage I needed to be confirmed and its is correct.

As for James Shard born 1865 I am led to believe he served with the South African corps

i have no other info only what I gave you last time on him.

I believe he died young as did his wife but the only death I can find that is near to it is

one listed in BURY in 1908 aged 48???

Now James is supposed to have 2 brothers William and John if that helps.

Cant find anything with regards to a marriage for him either or any children.

So may repiticious names in this lot the mind boggles.

I found James b1865 on 71 Census...pmsl...read previous posts!!!

Can't find anything else though me eyes gone all lol

Dual efforts Shan....lol...team work! I find that what I miss on my own tree...sumone else finds it soooo easily!
