Hi, I am looking for any information on my GGGGrandfather Jonathan Cocker, the only info I have on him is that he was a spindle maker. This info was on my GGGrandmothers marriage cert her name was Sarah Cocker she married John Mitchell at manchester Cathedral, on 27th June 1844. Their addresses were the same on the cert 16 Mitchell St.
Sarah Cocker's birthplace according to Censuses was in Rochdale around about 1825/6, died 21/1/1893, but haven't managed to find any concrete evidence yet. I believe Sarah's mother was a Mary Crowther, I found a Jonathan Cocker who married a Mary Crowther 1824 Manchester Cathedral.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
