    Default Researching Swift .......

I am researching Swifts' in Liverpool and Warrington, in particular the siblings of my Great Grandfather Thomas Swift born 1/8/1860 all born at 70, Burlington Street, Liverpool (Parents William Swift and Mary Houghton)

    William Swift born 11/8/1862

    Mary Jane Swift born 19/7/1868

    Sarah Ann Swift born 10/9/1871

I have had checked by ONS two marriages for Sarah Ann in 1891 & 1893 which proved not to be who I am looking for, there are too many William and Mary Jane to check, so any information on these people would be very much appreciated.

    Hi Nanna

Just a quick one - are any of your Swift's from Huyton?

    Cheers

    Hi MrC,

My late Mothers' brother Thomas Swift lived in Huyton for some time in 60/70's in St.Johns Road. My cousin is still living there, but at a different address. The rest of the family are in Birmingham.

    Do you have any info?

    Hi Nanna

I'm researching my prospective mother-in-law's tree for her.

Her father was Victor Ernest Swift, born in Huyton in 1900. He died in Prescot in 1962. His siblings were John, Albert, Sid, Gertie, Edna, Hilda & Maude. All lived in or around Huyton/Prescot.

That's pretty much all I've got so far as I've been digging into her maternal side.

    Cheers

    Hi MrC,

I'm sorry, non of the names ring a bell in connection to my tree, but will keep them on file for future use.

Most of my Swift's came through Penketh,Warrington, 1790's onward, to Liverpool.
