Thread: william mckinnon

hello, im new to this site.

im looking for any imfomation on my grandfather william mckinnon dob 13/08/1898 in falkirk (this imformation was taken from his seaman cards), was a merchant seaman in southampton in 1938 but had disappeared by early 1940,scotland bdm have no birth registared at this date or name.possible a illegitamate birth although his marriage cert has his fathers name as william mckinnon(deceased).

any help or ideas where i could look would be greatful accepted.
