Thread: Family Research

I have very recently discovered that my grandfather was born in Liverpool. In the 1891 census he is living with his family at the Cambridge Hotel in Picton Road. In the 1901 census he is still at this address but his father has died and his mother is remarried.

I'm interested in any info about the Cambridge Hotel or what other sources I could use to find out what happened to him between the 1901 census and 1913 when he married my grandmother in Peterhead, Scotland.

I would be grateful for any info or advice anyone has to offer.
