Thread: yet another rnewbie

hi to all



just joined this forum and thought i would say hello. Have recently discovered that most of my ancestors come from Ireland so brickwalls for most of the time. Also have a little bit of welsh blood and some liverpool ancestry.



names of interest are :

Ireland: McDOWELL, McCULLOUGH, DAVIDSON, WILSON AND GRILLS

Wales: Griffiths, Hughes ( I know - how common !!!!!)

Liverpool: Walker



anyway hopefully someone here might have some info or some useful hints

Welcome to the forum from another Welsh person!



I found out I've got more Welsh in me than I thought. Most of my family comes from the Mid Wales/England border and I recently found out that the part I thought were English actually came from my side of the border.



Anyway, good luck in your research and I'm sure there's people around here who are able to help.
