Thread: This is me!

Hi Everybody,



My name is Kirstie, I am a Community Learning Disabilities Nurse, working in Liverpool. I live in Nelson in Lancashire but was born in Enfield, Middlesex. I was married last year to Michael, which now makes me a Pickles, my previous name was MacCprmack.



So....I am researching the McCormicks from Wigtownshire in Scotland and the Irvines, from the same area. This is on my maternal granfathers side. On my maternal grandmothers side there are Haggis's. I know nothing abou them, and only have a few tit bits of info. My Nan died two weeks ago, so the info lines are shot!! Have gooten hold of some family addresses so will write and see what i can find out. i also spend time contacting lots of people to gain and exchange info.....it's so much fun and teaching me lots about history!



Anyway, thank you to all those who will no doubt help me now and in the future and happy hunting!
