    Default Intorduction

Hello to everyone. First I wish to thank you for replies I have already had and I just poted yesterday. This is a wonderful site.

My name is Pastor Barbara Flemming and I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and I have been researching on and off for about 5 years now. I also have an online Ministry that takes much of my time as well.

I am 56 years of age and have 2 grown children, Shantale and James. Shantale is a lawyer and James is a country singer and I try to spend time with them on weekends.

My searches have hit a really huge brick wall now and have about 30 years of nothing, like they disappeared off the map and I am trying so hard to find my biological last name and my roots.

Thankyou for having me here and living in Ontario I have access to Canadian Records at the archieves. I am going to make a full day trip there at month's end.

    God Bless All

    Sister Barbara

    Hiya Sister Barbara,

I am also a new member, I have found this site extremely helpful & friendly since I joined afew days ago, everyone is very welcoming! You are sure to find lots of useful tips, help etc., with tracing your family members.

It's good to hear a link from Ontario, I have an Aunt, Uncle & cousins living in Toronto, originally from West Yorkshire but moved out there many years ago due to my Uncle's job. I've been out to visit them, although it was over 10 yrs ago now - I must admit...I didn't want to come home, I fell in love with Toronto!

I look forward to "chatting" to you in the future,

    Take care,

    Waks

Oh my goodness, the replies are wonderful and ever so helpful. My desk is now so cluttered with information

I am happy to be here and I must say this is the friendliest board I have been on and the most responsive as well.

    God Bless
