I never know what to say when introducing myself. Just found this site and I am hoping that after a long search someone may help me with a missing ancestor. I am retired and living near Berwick upon Tweed in England (or Scotland depending on the history)

My missing ancestor is Thomas TAYLOR who was married twice 1881 and 1891. I won't enter too much detail at this time but he was born in Newcastle/ Gateshead circa 1861. He was 18 at first marriage and 30 at second. Father was William a joiner or cabinetmaker but can't find his birth or mother.
