Hello



I'm Laura and I have two lines of research:



I am doing research into the history of my house and everyone who has lived in it from when it was built in 1855 to present day.



I have also started to look into my Great Grandfather and the first world war. He was a seargent in the 9th battalion of the Manchester regiment.



I am not very methodical and I tend to go off on a tangent when I find out an interesting bit of info. I started to look into my Great Grandfathers role in the first world war because I found out that the son of a lady who lived in my house in the 1930's had died fighting and he also fought with the Manchester Regiment (not the same battalion though!)
