Hi everyone,
My name is Kay, aka Gordy100. I have just joined the Ancestry Aid community today and I have to say at first glance it is a wonderful site. I want to congratulate the webmasters, etc. on a well-laid out, easy to read site. Hopefully, more and more people will join and we'll soon all be breaking down those brick walls. My main research is into the Middleton/Gordon/Mitchell/Mollison families in the Kincardine area of Scotland, but lately seem to have been having more success with the Kerr/Edwards/Roberts/Whyte line. I'm really stuck, however, on my mother's family. Unfortunately, we don't know my grandmother's maiden name, her date of birth, the date she married my grandfather or his date of birth and he has a really common name, so no joy at all there, but here's hoping..... Hope that you all have a lovely day and look forward to getting to know you on the boards. Regards and best wishes, Kay |
