Thread: Hi everyone

First thing people need to know is my unending hatred of writing intro posts



Second thing - I have a warped sense of humour that people might mistake for sarcasm... or is it sarcaasm mistaked for humour.. it's hard to say



But mainly, I'm researching two family trees - my own and my partners - the names I'm searching for mainly is Rutter, Clack, Marley, Swift and a few others in between.



This forum looks great and I think I'm going to enjoy exploring it!

Well, it's only polite I'm a forum admin myself and, while I hate writing intro posts mainly because I never know what I should or shouldn't say , I hate it myself when people register at my own sites and then never post a thread saying hi. You can't expect people to give any help or make you welcome if, as a new member, you can't make an initial contact... or maybe that's just me and I'm waffling



As for the research, what is it about doing this..... it's frustrating, annoying when you lose a link and time consuming... but nonetheless we continue on and on and on!
