Thread: June Hawkins

I haven't been in touch for a while, illness in the family of the worst kind, And still trying to find the actual birth place of my great grandad, born in 1837 in a place originaly called Stettin in Germany, his name was , William Frederick Augustus Rosenbaum, what a mouthfull? but if any of you kind folk out there come across the name in any of your searches, please let me know? Stettin was handed over to Poland in 1945, and the name changed to Szczecin, so, it means searching archives in both places (and in the respective languages) to try to get some sort of a result. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks, June.
