Thread: Hello Everyone!

I stumbled across this website a couple of weeks ago and joined immediately. I have already had some help from different people - it's really fantastic.



I live in Devon, via Sussex, the Isle of Wight and Surrey. Ancestors come from all around:

Fowler/Cox/Kelly from Wiltshire, Hall from Lambeth, Mustard from Scotland then Rotherhithe.



I have only been researching seriously since Jan/Feb time, but have already found quite substantial amounts of info from various sites. I have already come across a distant relative on my father's side, and the other week I came across a relative on my mother's father's side. This person is in America, as it would appear that my great great uncle emigrated there in 1869.



Researching family history is riveting and all consuming. Once you get the bit between your teeth you just don't want to stop.
