Hi Everyone - Thank you for welcomes - looking forward to any help with my searches and hopefully will be able to help in some way if anyone is looking for information on the Glasgow Highlanders - They were a territorial battalion - part of the Highland Light Infantry - known as either as Glasgow Highlanders or the 9th Battalion Highland Light Infantry (HLI) - I help with the Association newsletters and would like to hear from anyone who either served or had a relative who served to see if we can pass on information.

Pejay - The avatar is the cap badge of the new Royal Regiment of Scotland after all the Scottish Infantry Battalions merged (7 Battalions merged) and the outcome was this new cap badge - a shame because they all really lost their individual identities but as they say we have to accept changes

Pejay Attached is the Glasgow Highlanders cap badge - hopefully this goes on the message - tried a couple times and think I have it sorted now - simple enough - just me????
