Hello everyone,Does anybody have access to the 1911 census,as i would love to have any information regarding James Edward Pope born (1888) but in the 1901 census it states that James Edward Pope was born in 1887 in Newcastle upon tyne northumberland please could anyone tell me if this is the same James Edward Pope,thankyou so very much kind regards jane

Hello brushwood there is a James Edward pope registered sep qr 1887 Tynemouth 10b 237 do you think this is him.
Ages on census forms can be well out I am afraid and are best only to be taken as approximate.

hello pejay thankyou for your reply yes i do indeed think this is the same james edward pope do you happen to know anything else about him, i think if it is the same one he was married in south shields in 1916 to an isabella but havent been able to confirm this kind regards jane.

He is with Lynch family Hugh 37 furnace man at copper works Annie 32 wife
Thomas Monaghan Brother 38
James e Pope NEphew. 23 bricklayer at copper works ASll born Northumberland Walken and 4 Lynch children Patrick 6 James 5 , Margaret 3 and catherine 1 and they live at 12 Bede Buildings Hebburn Jarrow
