Thread: not exactly new but a bit of a lurker

I've been a member on here for a while but never done anything about it.live in the Newcastle area of the UK but the ancestors come mainly from Ireland and Scotland, I've been researching seriously for over 12 yrs but as a 12-14 yr old started asking questions and collecting photos from my grandparents and great aunts ,so I knew a fair amount about the great grandparents ,but not all of it proved to be correct a lot of embroidery of some stories went on, and the generations info was a bit overlaped I'm getting a bit stuck now with brick walls ,the're gradually being knocked down but it's a long slog ,
