Begin wherever you want. If you are new to family history then start with what/whom you know and work back.
I started because the last of the oldies died and there was so much I now wanted to know about all sides of the family.... and I started from just a name and a place and over the years have made some progress.
Have you made a start yet? Are you stuck on one branch of your tree? Or are you completely new to this absorbing hobby?
WE will help you all we can but it makes things easier if you can give a name and a place and a birthdate or death date.
