Glad to be of help. I am actually trying to find the relatives of any South African pows who were loaded onto a German bound train from Camp 54 Fara in Sabina, Italy. The train was bombed by the Americans at Allerona, near Orvieto on 28 January 1944 and about 400 Allied pows were killed. A memorial plaque is to be unveiled on 28 January 2012 at the site of the incident. I have a website bombedpowtrainallerona.weebly.com if anyone is interested. ON it there is a list of all Pows who were KNOWN to have been killed, who escaped or who were recaptured and sent on to Germany.
A very warm Ancestry Aid welcome to you Kinrade. ..Good luck with your researching and thank for informing us about your web site..Sounds interesting..
