Looking for mark round

Hi,

My name is Dave Edwards. I am researching Baker, Jewels, Edwards, Woodfine, Williams and others, but my main concern at present is to find relatives of Mark Round, my great uncle. He was the brother of Samuel Round, my grandfather. They were born in Netherton, Dudley, Worcestershire/Staffordshire (boundaries changed).

Mark Noah Thomas Round (Snr.) died 1924, in the Registration district of Kidderminster, aged 56. The National Probate Calendar gives his date of death as 8^th November 1924. The probate document gives Mark’s name and address as Mark Noah Thomas Round, of Hernes Nest, Bewdley, Worcestershire.

I just joined this site last night. I know there are people searching for details of Mark Round, but I can't contact them.

There was also a George Round and a Thomas Richard Round. There is a connection with Blyth and Cambois, both in Northumberland. I live in Blyth and my grandfather Samuel Round died in 1939, eleven years before I was born, but my mother talked so much about him I feel I knew him.

Don't know if you are only searching for current relatives of Mark's past? Have you found him on the cencus? This is him in 1871 with parent's and siblings:

Richard Round 45 all born Netherton Miner
Sarah A Round 38
Thomas Round 16 Miner
Mary Round 12
John W Round 9
Samuel Round 4
Mark T Round 2
Ester A Round 2 born Netherton

Living No 30 Griffin Street.
Ref: RG10 3016 142 41

He is also on 1901 with his wife Sarah and their kids. Ref RG13 2732 106 8

Mark's Mum and Dad are also easily tracked on 1851, 1861, 1871, 1881 cencus's

Also, this looks like his father Richard on 1841 with his Mother (potentialy you g g grandmonther) and siblings

Thanks for that Rubina. Elizabeth (1841) doesn't seem to be ours, but the rest are. I have Mark and his son (same name) and other son Samuel on the 1911 census and all entries earlier. I am trying to locate a Mark Round of Bewdley, who is researching Mark Noah Thomas Round, but he seems to have disappeared :-)I

have copied my census finding below and as you can see they agree with what you found. I am intrigued by Mark and Esther (wrongly spelled as Ester on the census) .... either one of them is due a birthday, or they must have been twins ... I wonder ....
