    Hi a run a website and blog called "Bancrofts from Yorkshire" to help anyone researching the name.
    I would be interested in hearing from anyone who is researching the BANCROFT family name originating from Yorkshire, England.

    I have taken a whistle stop visit to your site and it looks interesting for Bancroft researchers. I have ancestry in Halifax but sadly no Bancrofts.

    I have burial records for St George's, Doncaster 1557 - 1890 .. there is one entry here .....
    BANCROFT William son of David .. buried 17 April 1768
