Thread: I'm back

I got the "you have not been Active for a while" notice in my emails .. so here I am 'I have poped back in.
I have been working on a James Douglas (my rellie) he died at Alvinston , Lambton County Ontario in 1928 .. as a Canadian he had served for 3 yrs in the American civil war (1861 - 1864 or so) .. for any that know history .. this side of the ocean .. Canada did not become a country until 1867 .. so officially he would have been down as from Canada West .. or CW. He was in a Wisconsin Unit .. and I am trying to find out more about that bit of family history.
