swarbrick, thompson, colvin, taylor
Hi my name is Andy Swarbrick and the immediate surnames that interest me are swarbrick, thompson, colvin, taylor.
The Thompson line comes from London.
The Colvin line comes from the Shetlands in the early 19th Century and thence primarily in London and then married a Thompson.
The Swarbrick line comes from Preston via Bolton.
The Taylor line comes from Yorkshire but is very hazy and thence married into a Swarbrick.
And finally the Thompson married a Swarbrick.
Going back we have other surnames and lineages. The Toole's from London and before that possibly O'Toole from Antrim, Ireland (no evidence of that as yet!) The Jackson's of London stemming from a freeman back in the early 19th Century.
Anyway that's my genealogy in a nutshell thus far.
