Hi

I am an Australian but have lived in London for many years, but with this weather we are currently having I am contemplating doing what my great great grandmother did and steal a Lady's purse containing half a crown and a halfpenny in Leicester Square and hope they transport me back home because in this current economic climate it is the only way I can afford to get there!

Have been researching my family history on and off for about a year and have discovered how addictive it can be. I work around the corner from Westminster Archives so often pop in after work for an hour so happy to help anyone who is searching ancestors in the Westminster parishes.

You will need more than half-a-crown to return to Antipodes,, Eh!,, While your in London "borrow" a Full Crown from Tower,,
That will surely get you extradited back to your Great/Great Grandmothers lovely habitat. Auss booming now,,big AU$ to £ eh!.
