I've been researching my genealogy for a few years now and its been a great 'journey'. Puzzles have been solved, skeletons in closets uncovered, but the most rewarding of all was finding out who my ancestors and extended family members were. My journey has taken me through Cornwall, Devon, Gloucester, Channel Islands, Scotland and Ireland. I feel as though I know them personally, such is all the information available online. The census records are the best. The people who do all the transcribing deserve a medal.
Anything that I find now, is the icing on the cake.
I'd encourage anyone, if they have the time and patience, to do the research.
