Hi,

My name is Ellie Mae from Lancashire. I have been interested in genealogy for the past 3 years or so. I've done quite a lot on my tree and also made a start on my husband's line. A friend of mine would like me to trace her roots but they are all Irish and that is totally out of my comfort zone so I may need your help with it, I hope you will be able to give me lots of advice.

I will go and have a look round the forum now, I look forward to making new friends on here

Hi guys,

Thanks for the lovely welcome. I've not posted on the forums as yet cos I'm actually doing ok at the moment.

My friend and I visited her elderly grandparents (they are in a nursing home) and although they are frail they have great memories. They've given us loads of info to chew on so we are busy adding it all to my new 'Irish' tree!

We will shout when we need help I'm sure you will come to the rescue!
