Hi...

I'm brand new to the UK and Ireland sites. I'm in the US and trying to get info. on ancestors from Ireland - 1700's. I recently found the area my kin are from, the area is east of Galway at the intersections of R355 and R356. My GGGGG grandfather was born in 1792 just north of this intersection. I believe that the family was Protestant. It is in County Galway . I guess I'm looking for church records listing birth and his parent's names.

Any help will be appreciated.
