Thread: Pycroft family

I am searching for my Grandmothers family they were called Saltmore from Manchester her father was born in 1861, the only entries I can find are for the Saltmer family I am not sure how to prove this is the same family.
I know that John Saltmore b1861 in Manchester was an orphan at the age of 5 and was admitted to the Swinton Industrial School I have checked these records at the LRO and the name is Saltmore.
Is there any other records or information I could check to see if Saltmer did become Saltmore.
