Thread: Introducing Myself...McClinton..Canada

Hello, I'm new to this forum and would like to introduce myself. I'm Dave and I live in Ontario, Canada. I have spent a couple of days touring your posts on this forum and I am hoping to find someone who would have information concerning my N. Ireland connections. My research has taken me back to Killyleagh, County Down, N. Ireland to my gr-gr-gr-grandparents, Samuel McClinton, born about 1785 and Margaret Torney, born about 1787. They were married in 1808 and that's about all the information I have concerning them, other than their children. Five of their eight children left N. Ireland in the mid 1800's and that's how I've ended up here! Thank you for allowing me to join your forum and if there is any information that anyone may be looking for from this part of the world, just ask. If I don't have the information, I may know how to get it. All the best....Dave.
