Hi All I'm new to this site and I have been looking for more info on this guy he is the only WW1 grave in the Melbourn Brurial Ground and I'm trying find out how he died and what of as he died at home, I have ask the Melbourn Group and they can't help, can anyone out there?
Ernest John GREEN
Gunner 114343, 180th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. Died at home Wednesday, 5th January 1916. Age 18. Born Melbourn, enlisted Cricklewood, Middlesex. Son of James Ernest and Sarah Green, of Dolphin Lane, Melbourn. Buried in Melbourn Burial Ground. West Section. Grave 273.
