Thread: new to all this

Hello,

My name is Annie and I've been researching my family for just a few weeks now but I'm hooked! I'm finding the Scottish side fairly straightforward but have come to a grinding halt on my Irish side. I know my grandparents names and one is from the North and one from Eire (Kildare I think) but I'm puzzled as to where to go now. Any suggestions gratefully received.
