Thread: I am an ex-pat Brit

Hi,



I am an ex-pat Brit, living in the US - San Antonio, Texas - although I grew up in Essex.



Most of my family tree come from the East End areas of London, or at least for the last three or four generations. Before that, in the middle of the 19th century, they hail from surrounding counties and one line from Wales.



My biggest challenge seems to be organizing all of the available data and information and deciding how best to present and preserve it for my family and future generations. Living so far away from primary sources of information can hurt, too, but I am planning an extended trip next summer for research purposes.
