Thread: Hello: Shaws, Hulls', Darling's and Preston

Hello everyone I am new to this site but looks interesting, see my post on dating an old photo - your help appreciated.



I am researching Shaw, Hulls, Darling and Preston.



I inherited 30 years research from my grandmother in 1996 - did not open the bag until 2007 but have become a little obsessed since.



Have recently found Royal Navy records for my gt grandfather (Preston- b1881 d1917) from 1899 to 1917, many ships are listed but I cannot find a resource on line to find out where the ships were when he was on board any suggestions?
