Thread: researching the Cooper clan

Hello there everyone, I am currently researching my COOPER clan.

Charles COOPER was christened 1773 WORCESTER, To Thomas COOPER and Margaret.

He married Alice DAVIES Sep 1794 ST MARYS WHITECHAPEL and when he was transported aboard the Barwell his wife and child, Sarah COOPER was transported with him.

My line goes Charles COOPER, Thomas COOPER, Charles Thomas COOPER, Samuel COOPER, William Edwin COOPER and my great grandma Hilda COOPER.

I have many links to Charles and Alice Cooper although they are not my direct line of Coopers. My direct line is Thomas Humphrey Cooper b 1820 in Sandhurst Kent and came to Australia free in 1841 with his family. His father unfortunately died on the voyage. Family history has that one of the family was in a Big House in England and it is believed that Charles mother was The Lady Margaret Vane. I have spent a long time trying to find a link between Charles Cooper and my Kent Coopers.
