hi my name is moe and i am researching the medlicott family that lived in toxteth park in the late 1800's and early 1900's my great grandfather was william medlicott born in shropshire he married a hannah shone at st silas toxteth in 1894 i have their address in 1901 as lydiate street toxteth dont know much after that also looking for information on his siblings richard, mary ann , francis, harriet , jane , blanche and thomas medlicott williams occupation at the time of his marriage was policeman i am really wondering are there still any medlicotts in the toxteth area as i know my part of the family moved to bootle and then on to waterloo nr crosby . the hughes family harry hughes was my geat grandfather unfortunatley i dont have an address but in 1891 it lists him as a paper hanger and in 1901 it list him as a city misssionary preacher which i find quite unusal he had three daughters isabella m hughes elizabeth e hughes and lillian m hughes (my grandmother) he also had one son harry m hughes any information would be grately appreciated .
