I am new to the forum so please bear with me till I familiarise myself with procedures!



My Scots families all hail from Perthshire and at the moment I am trying to join the dots between the various Penny families, Mcleish families and McLaren families.

I have created a few trees on Ancestry to try to get as much interest as I can but after 10 years it is still painstaking!



Visited the homeland in June and was rewarded with a Scotland Homecoming Certificate - so now, at last, a proud owner of a Scottish Certificate - my mother promised me I was conceived in Scotland but I was born in the North of England!
