Hi!I'm working on the Stuart/Crosby Family tree. I have had an easy time with all the English and Canadian people back to 1699 but I'm stumped with my father's mother in Lynn Massachusetts. Her name was Mary Eliot (Elliot) Kilroy and was born in Norwich, Connecticut abt 1882. She was married to George Harmon Crosby and had 4 children. George Jr and Helen both died as infants, my father, Alfred Ellis Crosby (born 16 Aug 1904) moved to Canada, while his sister Mabel Crosby moved to Detroit and married a Gordon Falconer. My father's birth certificate shows the family living at 500 summer st in Lynn MA and I've found evidence that other relatives lived in the area too. George Harmon Crosby had two sisters, Gertrude Viola and Mary. George moved to Canada and remarried in 1911 to Ellen Faulkner and then Gertrude (his sister) moved to Canada and married Charles Faulkner. Charles and Gertrude moved to MA and raised a family there. My big dead end is with my father's biological mother, Mary Eliot Kilroy, who apparently died of influenza in 1919 and is buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Boston. Oh yeah and just to complicate this a little further, she remarried and was Mrs. Carl Thorne at her death. I haven't been able to find either marriage certificate or registery entry or a death certificate. I've looked at every on-line source of doc. I can find....any help would be greatly appreciated.
