Thread: G'day from Australia

Hi everyone,



I have been searching on my family history and so far have managed to go back to 1809 which is when my great great great grandfather was born. His name was James McGlenchy, and he married Ellen Murphy b:1831-32.



James and Ellen were born in Ireland and then immigrated to Australia around mid 1800's.



I have searched so many sites and haven't really gotten anywhere. If someone is able to provide any information on any McGlenchy, that would be fantastic.



James and Ellen had eight children together, named Arthur b:1848-49, Patrick b:1850-51, Mary b:1851-59 Died before mother died, Kate b:1859-60, Ellen b:1863 d:1926, Annie b:1863-69 Died before mother died, John b:1868-69 and Margaret b:1872-73.



I have found decendants of Patrick McGlenchy, and John McGlenchy is my great great grandfather. But if anyone has information also on the decendants of their other children, and information on the birth and death of Mary and Annie, please get in touch.
