Thread: Hello!

I am here looking for information on my Great Grandma Doris Ward who left my Grandma when she was a little girl and went off to Paris to be an entertainer. Apparently she had quite a beautiful voice.



I am also looking for information on my Mother's deceased uncle who was a train driver and will search out his details later. I am more interestd in Doris as I have become an entertainer myself and none of my family have the same traits, I think it may have skipped a few generations!

Thank you everyone! I found a photo of her on Ancestry.co.uk that someone else had posted, but when Imessage dthe lady who posted it, I did not receive a response. My 14 day trial ran out and that was it! My grandma refused to talk about her (obviously), but would love to find some postcards of her or bill posters from the 20's and 30's, maybe from the burlesque theatres. Who knows!
