Thread: trying to trace grandfathers marriages

have just joined and need as much help as i can get,iam very new at this and alredy pulling my hair out.Iam trying to get the name of my grandfather(my fathers father)wife it would of been his 2nd marriage my grandmother my fathers real mother died uin 1924 eliza barnes and i think my grandfather remarried in 1927 in bethnal green,i think her name could of been sophia wood but this is where i get very confused as the name richardson is mentioned all the time by other family members would she use a married name or a maiden name when she remarried my grandfather.i know my real grandmother was married before and her name was barnes on my fathers birth certificate but would that have been her married name or maiden name ,although she already had 2 children in the name of barnes.if anyone can help i will be very grateful
