Thread: new member

Hi i'm a new member,my name is Sandi,I live in Scotland, I'm married with 3 children (aged 20 - 14 -14 )

i've been trying to trace my fathers side of the family for several years now! my dad was born out if wed lock he never met his father as he was killed in action in france 1944(aged 22) so i though i would try to find some info for my dad, but sadly my dad passed away in 2001 (aged 60). The only info that he new was his fathers name- that he was born in England and that he had asked for his mother's hand. I have found some info, but seem to have hit a brick wall, I came across this site and thought i would give it a try!
