Thread: Joan from Canada

Hi there,



I am a transplanted Brit living in Canada for the past 31 years. Married with 2 kids, 4 grandkids and a real wicked sense of humour which I test daily on my long suffering husband Patrick (our Jethro).



His is recently retired from Generous Motors through the downsize in the economy here but he will need to get a job soon as he is driving me...somewhere real special.........the nuthouse. Apart from that he is wonderful and promised me on our wedding day there would be no dull moments, a promise he has kept faithfully.



I am researching my roots....not the ones I dye every 4-5weeks, I mean the ones I originate from, the Huddarts (Wigton, Liverpool and Bolton), the Heyes, (Euxton, Bolton), the Mckay's (Scotland) and the McDonough's (Ireland and Bolton).



If anyone has info on these families please pass it along. If I can help anyone with their research, give us a shout and I'll see what I can do.
