Thread: Help in getting started

I am new to looking up my ancestors. I have done some work but need help in the best way of obtaining a marriage certificate for my grandparents. I have found the Reference No. in the Births, Deaths and Marriage index for the year but don't know how to go about obtaining the certificate. Anybody out there can help me?
